midnight mountain biking
i just went mountain biking in westwoods at midnight, and it was dark as fuck, but i had a headlamp. i was able to see like 20 feet in front of me, but still really limited. luckily i only bailed 4 times. there was a stretch of trail that was long, narrow, and downhill, and my brakes were really muddy and my chain came off, so i was bombing down a dark path going like 15 miles per hour. fukkin sick.
i was also stalked by a critter, a deer i think, i heard him stepping in leaves, and saw glowing eyes. it was creepy, but not as scary as when i heard a long howl, then a whole barrage of yapping, i didnt know if it was dogs in someones yard or coyotes, but I was ready to leave. so i did.
next time i go night riding, im going to fix a go pro camera to my head, and go on clear night with a full moon, so i can make a sick vid.
